In Person Worship Suspended

After taking into account the increasing rate of COVID-19 infections in our area, the state’s new guidelines and in consultation with the other United Methodist Churches in our Cluster, I have decided that we will not have in-person worship, meetings or gatherings at our church until after Christmas at the earliest. Our worship services will be provided through YouTube videos each week. If you cannot access the videos online, we can make you a DVD to watch.

We will continue to hold our Tuesday noon Bible Study on ZOOM. If you would like the link, please let us know.

We will now offer a Sunday morning “Adult Sunday School” time. This will be on ZOOM at 10:30 a.m. This will be a fellowship, prayer and conversation meeting and may include an Advent study if there is sufficient interest.

While you may hear that some churches continue to meet in person, our United Methodist Congregations are in agreement that we should take a pause from these gatherings until our infection rates decrease significantly and/or we have access to an effective vaccine.

May God watch over you and bless you and keep you safe and well,

Rev. Greg Smith
